Balboa Inn, On The Beach At Newport Newport Beach, Newport Beach

This hotel has a lot of potential with its location, but it unfortunately falls short in several areas. The condition of the rooms leaves much to be desired, and my experience with the staff was not ideal, especially with a few rude interactions. While the facilities could be great with proper maintenance, the lack of cleanliness and comfort made for a disappointing stay overall.

My stay at the hotel was marred by several disappointments. While the location is outstanding, right in the heart of the action, the condition of both the rooms and the service left much to be desired. I encountered issues like disorganization during check-in, plus extra fees that felt unjustified given the quality received. Even though some aspects were decent, it didn't feel like a good value for the money paid.
